The last piece of demonstration is DTS9- special feature- swedish radio5.1- The run. This piece I had played in my home at least over 20 times. Everytime I changed something new, I played this track. And after playing this track in M&K showroom today, my feeling is:

The subwoofer is not powerful enough for this 400ft area to give enough impact, I felt this because the punching sound, the airplane take off sound, is not as powerful as I expected.
Treble is not high enough, because at the beginning of the car crash should catch ear, but it was not. The sword fight was not catching ear neither.
Side surround is not as loud as surround back, the sound stage is not as wide as I expected in the church, hall.
The bass is not as fast, because the crashing sound in the banquet was not punchy.
Wow, I think I said too many bad things already. Sorry

This concluded my feelings. One more thing, the M&K representative said push-pull design is for compressing air inside the speaker box to produce bigger powerful sound, but I thought push-pull is designed for fast bass.......... maybe I am wrong.

All of my feelings were based on todays setup only, and I haven't have the chance to try their parasound preamp with active s150p. Maybe next time. Thanks for listerning.

Another movie played is Flight of the phoenix, the closing scene when their homemade airplace starts and running from the arabs. Right when the scene is played, the background music again made the room very boomy (wrong choice of demonstartion scene). I would say good scene from this movie to demonstrate should be when the plane fly into the storm and flip over. Anyway, after the boomy music, I found another problem. The speech is not as clear. Why why why. Oh, I think maybe because I sit in the back roll.
