Sorry, it should be the Signature series I was talking about before. I don't dare to check out the price for the Master Reference series.
Finite Elemente, 淨係聽個名都知唔講得笑

Solid steel is a lot better than my former ikea TV rack(of course) but don't think it is perfect, it still transfers vibration to my turntable and easily heard from spk. I tried once to step the floor very hard(I weight 180lb.) in the other end of the living room(about 8 - 10 feet from the rack) during LP playback, a clear "bump" sound was heard from the spk It can be caused by the poorly built apartment that I am living in, or just the rack.
If your equipment is very sensitive(TT), better rack or replacing the standard wood(MDF) board is a must.

Thanks for your usage experience on the solidsteel racks.
Theoretically, solid metal would transmit vibration very quickly. Therefore, I believe the solidsteel racks will do the same but ultimately these vibrations need to be absorbed or damped by other means such as Linn Skeet or similar as suggested by other AV100Fun brothers here. Please consult other brothers opinion.
At present, I used a custom-made wooden MDF rack from Sound Mechanics. The performance are acceptable.
I wonder whether those brothers who have used Sound Mechanics Wooden Racks and Solidsteel Racks before can provide me some comments or recommendations or any performance comparisons ??
Some people told me that the sounding charateristics from wooden rack are different from steel rack. Is it true ??
