BE CAREFUL 240V ---> 100V Transformer

To every BROTHER who use 240V ---> 100V Transformer

This is very dangerous I exprience yesterday night!!!



After the Yamaha overload this posted unit, the fuse broken!!

I change to a new fuse and try to switch on, it broken again!!

I check it with my Multi-meter, find that the curcuit was
SHORTED!!


EVERY brother must be careful!!

I have the same transformer for the LD player (Pioneer HF9G). It was OK in the past and I haven't used it now since LD was replaced by DVD.

my 300W 海韻英國濾波環牛 broken down 2 weeks ago, and I opened it up and checked, found that the +ve and -ve output from the transformer is shorted (it is supposed to have 100v voltage), so basically the transformer is gone.
