My Arcam is AVP700+P1000

I used Japanese model before (Onkyo 701, Denon 3805), my experience for Japanese model is:

-Powerful
-Lot of function (actually, too much for me, I think I just use 70% of the function)
-Sounds are a bit artificial to me, not much musical

Then I would like to try try European/ US machine.

Now, the Arcam pre+power:

-Very musical (i campare it with Denon 3805 but others are the same, when listen Concert DVD.....D3805 can't comparel)

-Detail and analytical (When I watch DTS 9 and War of the world, I found I hear more detail that 3805 cannot provide)


-No exciting effect when compare to Denon 3805, but for me, it is more long lasting, my ear not easy get tired)


however, it also have some disadvantage:

-Not much function, only basic (no room eq, no auto calibration for speaker and sound level, video upscaling only support Component) but enough for me

-Not a tank built machine (light weight which may not accept by general when compare to Japanese machine)
