Subwoofer Volume setting 的問題

first, if you have small satellite speakers, you need to know how low it can output. If they can output 80hz, then you can set the subwoofer to 80hz. if they are very small speakers, you might need to set at 100hz or 120hz.
second, if your subwoofer has volume switch, you can either set volume at av amp or subwoofer. you can first set av amp to 0 for subwoofer and adjust the subwoofer volume to a good level. then later use av amp to do the fine tunning again.
usually, subwoofer volume level is hard to measure with sound meter. (you need to use slow, c-weighting in sound meter). It is better to use your ear to detect if it is loud enough or not. 耳仔收貨. play music cd, concert cd to listen will be better than play dvd. hope this helps

check 前置喇叭最低輸出頻率時要留意有無衰減，例如最低輸出頻率為50Hz, -3db limit，雖然可以去到50Hz，但係到50Hz時個音壓就會比中頻時低50%，所以set cross-over frequency時唔好就咁set去個喇叭個最低點。

我個Amp 得一個Crossover Frequency, 80Hz. 所以冇得攪 , 只是我想知個Sub set番Max Crossover 和 Subwoofer direct 係咪冇分別

可能會有分別都唔定 ...............話曬by-pass左一份電路...................要睇下份分音的設計, 用料...............諸如此類.

不過正路計, 少隻香爐少隻鬼.............我估!
