Since you already have a LP pivot tonearm, turntable, I suggest that you may consider to install a "linear tracking tonearm" for your new turntable so that you can make a comparison between them.

Since you already have a pivot tonearm turntable, I suggest that you may consider to install a "linear tracking tonearm" for your new turntable so that you can make a comparison between them.

dear stardust, I am happy that my search of good sound ends, at least for the moment. I wouldn't mind a little more bass, attack, but hey you can't have them all. At the moment the sound of my system, when playing LPs through Linn LP12, is lively, with suductive mid range and reasonable bass but lack some attack. The soundstage is quite wide and density of sound is very satisfactory.

Testament, I always insterested to get a ET-2 arm, but I am afraid that's a bit complicated for me...
