In particular for Video Cables, they will surely have BNC (refers to the attached table).

I see what you need. Your clock cable is BNC while the AES cable si XLR (balanced).

You required the digital cable for HiFi (XLR AES/EBU 110 ohm and BNC connectors respectively).

First, I will check for you the availability and the associated price for 0.5m from Wireworld.

Since I do not familiar with Wireworld digital cable except the optical cable, I will try to ask for advice and feed you back later.

你用甚麽 AV Amp 及 Display？

團購 Wireworld HDMI 有 4 種，價錢及表現不一樣，

要視乎其他器材配合，與及你個人的要求，

我一般建議接駁 blu-ray 机 (PS3)，用好一些，最少 Ultraviolet 或以上，

DVD 机用 Chroma 或 Ultraviolet 已可。

如果小弟無理解錯雷門兄之前所解釋既話, BD -> AMP 可以用條較好的, 咁 AMP -> Plasma 的話就可用落一級的, 岩嗎? 是否因為 AMP -> Plasma 主要是影像主導...

I have received feed back from the Wireworld via the cable supplier as below:

I heard back from Wireworld and they have no cable that can be 110ohm with BNC connectors.

The Gold Starlight Balanced cable is 110ohms, but David Salz (owner of Wireworld) knows of
no application that would require a 110ohm with BNC connector.
What equipment is your friend hooking up that requires this specific cable?

I can certainly get either the Silver or Gold Starlight with BNC connector at 75ohm, which is the typical rating for a non-balanced digital cable.

Please confirm what you need in particular on End Connectors (XLR or BNC).

Besides, what is the impedance (i.e. 75 ohm or 110 ohm) of the cable.

你的理解是完全正確！



我多次表示及建議，一般 AV 系統是有 2 條較重要的 HDMI 接線

(1) 短接線 : 由訊源 (例如: Blu-ray 机) 至 AV Amp --> 聲及畫的數據傳輸

(2) 長接線 : 由 AV Amp ray 至 投影机 --> 畫像數據經長距離傳輸

用的 HDMI 接線，最重要是防止或減小數據在傳輸時被外來及內在因素影響和劣化，

選擇接線等級，亦應要配合 AV 系統中的器材等級，發揮器材的強項及所有性能，

基本等級器材，用頂級接線，可能完全無必要，因頂級接線，不能起死回生的，

相反高分析力發燒級器材，如只用普通接線，便極有可能未能盡用器材的強項及性能，也是浪費！

故此最好是從器材質素及性能出發，再找合適接線去配合，接線只是配角而已

最終選擇，一定是視乎你個人的要求，與及口袋中的能力和心中的接受能力有關！
