Concert?

Will go to a concert on Dec 12. Last row of the $400 section. Can anyone tell me if a 300/F4 lens will do (I could add on a 1.4X TC) or it is a waste of time and effort?

300/4 will be fine, and don't forget the monopod! Remember to use high ISO (800-1200), and center spot metering.
But if you have zoom like 80-400 will be much better!
