According to the report, the IMAX version is just few dB lower in level, turn the volume back up will be identical.

how about the picture

The picture is almost identical for the 1:2.35 part, may be the non-IMAX a touch brighter. But when comes to the 1:1.85 shots, there is no comparison, the bigger screen simply filled with brilliant pictures. On the chapter where the mini robot is about to cut Sam's head, and Optimus (?) comes to the rescue, (still in 1:2.35), and then the fight goes outside, to the forest, the scene opens up into 1:1.85, the view is quite extraordinary. :038:

I found that it has 10 dB difference between the non-IMAX and IMAX version. :confused:

(For non-IMAX I use -19dB, the IMAX version -9dB). Otherwise, the audio is quite similar. (may be the non-IMAX a touch more dynamic ??, not really sure)

O...then I need to turn up the main volume to -5-7db to match my normal listening level. But its bass already shake my sofa frequently. Can't wait to try a bit later. :a004:
