olive 4 supports wireless, does linn support?

Linn DS products do not support Wireless.

Linn recommend to use LAN cable for connections to NAS.



The Olive 4HD does support wireless with many fancy features.

However, it includes hard disk and CD ROM inside to generate vibrations and interference which is no good to the sound quality.

Besides, it only use one DAC for analog output.

Furthermore, it does not have XLR analog output.



Therefore, Linn Akurate DS is superior to Olive 4HD from technical point of view.

But for bundle with plenty of facilities, it can be selected over Majik DS.



Anyway, I will love to pay a visit to the Olive 4HD agent (AV Consultant) to appreciate its sound performance.

看上去 Olive 4HD 可玩性是很強，但內涵是有 Hard Disk 及 CD ROM

故是一部加強 DAC 的電腦差不多

相信對尋求使用方便的朋友確是可考慮的簡單好選擇

但對需要有音質更佳的朋友，則可能不太喜歡 Hard Disk 及 CD ROM 的震動和干擾

如有人喜歡 CD 播放机，但亦有朋友偏愛 CD 轉盤加上 DAC 的分體組合

Yes, I agree the olive is slightly more than a toy and serves mainly convenient purposes. At this moment, I also look for something like that, end up I have chosen logitech transporter and I am using it simply as transport for streaming pop songs to my emmlabs dac and Internet radio
