There are so many high hands using Solid Steel HiFi Rack and the comments are very positive.

I wonder whether any brother (may be 初哥 hing) can advise me the relevant cost of a single unit with 3 shelves:

H5.3, H6.3 & H7.3 respectively. There is price difference for MDF Shelf and Tempered Glass Shelf ??

I need to estimate the total cost if I purchase 3 no. of rack so that I can start save the money for future purchase.

But also take a look at Quadraspire and the ultimate rack -- Finite Elemente.......

For Finite Elemente, Jadis is their distributor. It was named as one of the best rack ever made, but the Ref series (mind you, this is not the top model, the top model is Master) is listing at HK$15k for a 4-shelves

Sorry, it should be the Signature series I was talking about before. I don't dare to check out the price for the Master Reference series.

It's too expensive for me to have a rack over HK$10K. I believe I can only afford to buy solidsteel racks.

Anyway, thanks for the information and I will try to have a look at Jadis to appreicate this great rack.

A solid steel H6 partner (black) is approx. $2.5k in yau shing, x/f(can't remember) when I bought my last two H6partners( I have 3) about 8 months ago, free delievery, not a bad deal I think.....



Solid steel is a lot better than my former ikea TV rack(of course) but don't think it is perfect, it still transfers vibration to my turntable and easily heard from spk. I tried once to step the floor very hard(I weight 180lb.) in the other end of the living room(about 8 - 10 feet from the rack) during LP playback, a clear "bump" sound was heard from the spk It can be caused by the poorly built apartment that I am living in, or just the rack.

If your equipment is very sensitive(TT), better rack or replacing the standard wood(MDF) board is a must.
