why you need such a high gain grey screen

1.25 is "high" gain???

yes (to me)

1.25 is not really high gain, even for you
Ambient light control at your home isn't great really and your projector is not exceptionally bright, so a moderate gain screen is still suitable. However, Firehawk would not be suitable for you because your projection distance is too short, not because the sceeen gain is to high
