I first started picking up photography seriously about 30 years ago. I was a F2 student and joined the school's photography club. My father was already serioulsy into photography. The first serious camera that he let me used was a Topcon SLR with aperature priority auto-exposure. Topcon was a Japanese camera maker that has gone out of business for many years. I can't even remember the model number now, but here's a picture of a Topcon camera. The one I used looked something like this one.

I remember a few toy cameras we had in the early 70's, but the first "real" camera we each got was the Agfa Autostar X-126! Now, we are really showing our age!!!
